Cynthia Smith

As a child I fell in love with stars like Audrey Hepburn, Betty Page, Madonna….Later I realized it was not the stars I fell in love with but the styles, styles created by people like Edith Head, Coco Chanel, Christian Lacroix. 

I began designing my own clothing, deconstructing and reconstructing and participated in several fashion shows in Seattle.  I experimented with different recycled textiles like bicycle tubes and vinyl billboards.  I  currently work as a tile artist at a local Tucson business, Santa Theresa Tile Works and am enrolled in  fashion design classes  Pima Community College.

My love for fashion has only grown.  I hope to continue learning and continuously become inspired by the beautiful moments our everyday life has to offer.
